     Timothy Gage Westerfield, 15, of Decatur, passed away at 8:25 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

     Timothy was born on August 5, 1993 in Decatur, the son of Aaron E. Westerfield, Sr. and Laura R. Westerfield. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Todd Scott Schroat; great grandfather, Virgil W. Schroat; and great grandmother, Delta Mae Schroat.

     He is survived by his his mother, Laura R. Westerfield and her husband Jason M. Smith of Decatur; brother, A.J. Westerfield of Decatur; grandparents, Sharon (Gary) Bartolameolli of Bradley and Kent (Connie) Stimson of Decatur; great grandmother, Grace Schroat of Decatur; niece, Haley Westerfield of Decatur; sister-in-law, Sarah Hughes of Decatur; great aunts and great uncle, Linda Loman of Decatur, Susan Grider of Decatur, Ronald Schroat of Simi Valley, CA and Beth "Aunt B" Pygott of Cowden; cousin, Destiny Pygott of Cowden; best friend, Colton Hart of Warrensburg; and beloved dog, Peanut Ann.

     Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2008, at Dawson & Wikoff Colonial Chapel North in Decatur. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

     Local arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home in Peoria.
